Roberto, el hijo del legendario Charro Negro, regresa a la hacienda donde naci despus de haberse ausentado durante 10 aos para estudiar en la capital del pas. Su llegada despierta el amor de una antigua novia de la infancia y la rivalidad de un pretendiente celoso que trata de poner en ridculo a quien considera "un catrn inofensivo". Roberto se defiende virilmente de las agresiones y el villano termina por raptar a la muchacha para conseguir sus favores. His arrival awakens the love of a childhood girlfriend and the rivalry of a jealous suitor, who considers Roberto no more than a harmless dandy. Roberto is manly in his own defense and the villain ends up kidnapping the girl to win her favor. Roberto accepts his destiny and, wearing his father’s black costume, rescues the lady and puts the bad guys in their place, resurrecting the legend of the Black Cowboy, who everyone swears has come back from the dead to see that justice is done.
